Advert description
Teaching biology related courses are my passion. I have taught first and second year undergraduate levels for nearly 5 years and I have built a huge resource base of information and materials necessary for all my students to achieve academic excellence.
I began my career as a biology teaching assistant while studying Bioengineering as a master’s student in Cyprus international university. I taught Microbiology, Cell biology, Ecology, Biomaterials and Marine biology.
As your tutor, I'll help you in every possible way, including demystifying and breaking down difficult concepts. You will learn useful ways of understanding the interconnected world of biology in an engaging and light-hearted manner.
My instructional modules are designed to provide a flexible, supportive, and dynamic learning environment for every student. Moreover, I urge students to think big and to discover ways we can utilise our collective knowledge in this digital age to foster collaborations and partnerships to make the world a much peaceful place for generations to come.
My lessons are usually 2 hours long, with two 10 minutes intermittent breaks. At the end of each lesson, you will do homework (to be reviewed in the next class), but most importantly, you will go back with a sense of understanding and a feeling of great accomplishment.
I'm currently a PhD student at Queen's university Belfast, where I'm specialising in early cancer diagnosis and Nanotechnology.
