I prepared students for the Yamaha Piano Exam, helping them achieve results from Merit to Distinction through tailored lessons in music theory, notation, and harmony. Utilising Alfred’s books, I taught articulation and posture, starting with black keys to familiarise students with the piano's layout. I focus on developing listening skills and perfect pitch, incorporating flashcards and clapping techniques to enhance rhythmic understanding. Additionally, I guide students in sight-reading, piano accompaniment, and ensemble performance. One of my students won the Platinum Award at the Indonesia National Piano Festival through dedicated training in music composition and performance.
