I am an experienced and innovative teacher who is excited about teaching learners of all ages.

I have 30 years experience teaching students of all ages, including adults, in a wide range of educational settings. I provide both small group and individual tuition to students who have additional needs and/ or who do not have English as their first language in a creative, multi sensory way. Developing and delivering courses of interest to myself and others is also a particular passion of mine. My own enthusiasm for learning is contagious and my excellent communication skills make me a very adaptable teacher. Since covid, I am very comfortable using an array of online methods to deliver bespoke lessons. Developing competence leads to confidence and my sensitive. nurturing, affirming teaching style facilitates both. Continual gentle assessment celebrating each incremental step towards well thought out and clearly communicated goals is vitally important to me. Close liason with learners in discovering and utilising their own unique learning styles, personalities, strengths and abilities forms the platform for all my teaching.
