I would begin with determining the student's current competence level, learning style, and goals. This can be done through introductory interactions, written exams, or standardized examinations. Then creating a systematic program adapted to the student's needs that includes key areas of Arabic language acquisition such as vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and understanding. This can include textbooks, internet resources, and supplemental materials. I find encouraging frequent practice both within and outside of lessons by assigning homework, forming language exchange relationships, and having daily conversation practice. Most importantly giving critical comments and correction to assist the learner develop their language skills, emphasizing areas of weakness while also celebrating growth and achievement.
