I am Native in English, gained grades 8 in Literature and 9 in Language and have worked as a Full Time LSA

I have a grade 8 in English Literature and a Grade 9 in English Language, whilst also working as an LSA fulltime for 8 months in a secondary school helping students with specific SEND needs. These students were typically of low level either due to Specific Learning Difficulties that have not been supported in primary school or because English is not their first language and thus are an EAL student. I would be in 5 lessons a day, 5 days a week and would support classes of 20-32 students with either some or most of the class being SEND students, the lessons would vary from Math, English, Science, Geography, History, Food science, Computer science and at times Religious Studies. The students ranged from year 7 to 11 thus not only do I have a good level of English but also experience in supporting and teaching GCSE content to students that are SEND or EAL. I have other working experience from McDonalds as a crew member and at Vue as a Customer Assistant giving me skills in retail but my main achievement would be my time as an LSA as this experience shaped me to soar in confidence in teaching, communicating, educating and supporting students, with my confidence in communicating being emphasised by speaking in assemblies or leading lessons, interventions and after school clubs.
