I’m a primary school teacher who has traveled widely teaching in International Schools. I believe my success is based on relationships and sharing the fun of learning. I encourage students to be risk-takers and not to fear making mistakes.
Lessons begin with a provocation. From there we identify the key concepts, relate current knowledge and connections list what we want to find out. Using thinking, communication, research and self management skills the enquiry follows and reveals further insights and questions. The knowledge is real, the skills are for life and all subjects, including mathematics, are covered.
