Advert description
Latam is a magical place, in every sense of the word. However, for the brevity of time, I will limit myself to share some normal experiences (for me) that may seem remarkable (for other cultures).
I am an entrepreneur, born in the midst of many transitions; from exodus of family members from rural to urban environments, from closed cultural environments to being part of migrant communities in different places, to working with analog tools to digital tools. Emphasizing the transition from analog to digital, we have booms and busts of many companies, groups and technologies. The first peak or wake-up call where many pioneering companies of this transition were noticed occurred at the end of 1999 and beginning of 2000, many groups that wanted to enter this field without having any real defined purpose and this limited the continuity, others with purpose did not know how to adapt and succumbed in early stages, exemplifying one of the most prominent cases with the company Kodak, which being a giant with many years and market did not want to accept the transition from analog to digital and ended up poorly positioned for this reason.
Changes are important, but more important is to know how to adapt to them and constantly update ourselves. Most of the problems and challenges I have had in my professional career have been due to clients who do not easily accept the transition and changes that occur in the markets and with customers. I remember in Panama a particular case, where I was advising a small group and they wanted to remain with a very structured family business model that had certainly worked in their time, however sales were declining and they could not retake the market, the solution: effectively, was to adapt to the new digital paradigm and offer promotions from a new perspective.
Without going on too much longer, I share with you part of these experiences with the intention that we reflect when it comes to difficult situations and accept the changes as new challenges to improve and reach new horizons. I thank you for reading these paragraphs and I hope to be able to continue this and other stories in new sessions and thus discuss what would be the best way to assume the changes. In an active way and anticipate them by training or in a more passive way and seeing the first signs to be certain of these coming changes.
Best regards.
