I will give one to one tutoring sessions specifically tailored to the individual needs of students studying at GCSE level or below

I like to firstly understand the learning styles of pupils in order to make my lessons as engaging and easy to follow as possible. Studying economics and Spanish at university, I have a strong mathematical and linguistic background which I would love use in a teaching environment. I will start my sessions by assessing the key areas for improvement, usually in the form of practise papers or questions. From this, I will create tailored questions and explanations to help the students feel comfortable and confident in their learning. During my time at school I helped younger students with dyslexia to practise reading and spelling which required understanding potential issues and giving pupils the confidence to know that they were capable.
