Online Maths Tutoring with University of Bath student :)

I like to teach my students with a kind and compassionate approach by consistently checking in with their confidence levels. I like to start with a warm up game to test their knowledge and see where their level is at and then tailor the rest of the lesson to cater to their levels. I aim to keep a fun and lighthearted dynamic by using quizzes but also asking the students to teach it back to me for a more interactive lesson. I find that the combination of educational videos, power point presentations and team tasks is the best way for my students to learn and retain the content within my classes. I prefer conversational and entertaining approaches to learning than tough academic lessons but am able to use both methods. I like constant quizzes to engage the brain and keep my students thinking. I have experience of teaching young children at my old school and students in the local area in Geneva. I am able to help with homework and do exercises whilst teaching the academic material. I adapt to the situation and love helping kids learn :)
