Hello! My name is Lucy, and I am a passionate Biology graduate with a First Class Honours degree. I'm excited to share my love for science and literature through tutoring. With a strong academic background, I aim to support students in achieving their ful

Advert description
br/>I offer comprehensive tutoring in Biology for undergraduate students, as well as A-level and GCSE students. Additionally, I provide tutoring in GCSE Chemistry and Physics, complemented by my solid foundation in these subjects, all of which I received A* grades in at GCSE level. While I don't offer tutoring for Chemistry and Physics at the A-level due to the time since studying, I would recommend specialised tutors for these subjects at the A-level.

Furthermore, I offer tutoring services for GCSE and A-level English Literature. I achieved an A* at GCSE level and an A at A-level.

I provide patient and highly personalised tutoring sessions, focusing on an application-based approach to learning. During our sessions, we will delve into the content and discuss exam techniques tailored to each subject, ensuring students feel as prepared as possible. Exam technique will be a key focus for GCSE and A-level students, alongside content consolidation.

For undergraduate biology students, I cover topics such as microbiology, molecular biology, evolution, and data-related topics. However, I do not cover genomics and genetics. Additionally, I have professional experience in data analysis, with proficiency in Python, R programming, Excel, and Tableau. I specialise in supporting students with data analysis and visualisation, particularly for final year projects and dissertations.

I also understand the challenges faced by students with learning difficulties, as I have dyslexia myself. This unique perspective allows me to empathise with my students and offer tailored support. I can teach techniques that helped me overcome obstacles during my own studies, ensuring that every student receives personalised guidance to reach their full potential.
