GCSE & A Level Maths Tutoring From 4 A* Student at the University of Bath

Hi! I am currently an undergraduate studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bath. I am a sociable and friendly person, with the ability to communicate well with others. I achieved 4 A*s at A Level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and History.

I am passionate about maths and problem solving and want to help others feel the same. I find that the reason many people don't enjoy maths is that the lessons are not engaging or helpful to what the students actually need.
This is why I will tailor each session to meet individual learning styles in order for the student to make the most progress in their learning.

Having been through these courses recently, I am familiar with the specification and will plan lessons to maximise practise and exam style techniques to build confidence. Complex topics will be carefully broken down into manageable parts to allow students to gain a better mathematical understanding of their topics.

I am a big believer in mistakes being the foundation of learning and will encourage the student to push themselves beyond their comfort zones, whilst making them feel confident that they do have the ability to succeed.
I will help organise and structure homework and revision, sharing the tips and tricks that I found worked for me.

Maths is a subject far more enjoyable than just numbers on a page and through carefully planned lessons and interesting practise, I would love to share my passion for it.
