Mihai taught me IB (International Baccalaureate) Maths Higher Level in 2011-2013 at the then Sussex Coast College Hastings. The strong foundation that he built helped me successfully navigate through my Civil Engineering Education at New York University in the US. Calculus, Vectors, Matrices, Probability and Statistics, Set Theory and all the other topics he taught us proved so relevant at university. His classes were always fun, and full of rigor. I felt I had learned something new in every session. It really made IB Maths HL (considered one of the toughest subjects of the IB Diploma program) fun and easy. He also coordinated the Alfa-Beta Maths Club where every week he would introduce us to "applications of maths beyond coursebook." He is a very passionate teacher with a deep love for the subject and truly cares about the learning of his students. He carries my strongest recommendations. Sometimes I only wish I can go back and be his student again. I truly do. :)
