I am a native English teacher, qualified TEFL Level 3, with experience in and outside of formal classroom settings

I prefer to keep my lessons as engaging and relevant to the students needs as possible. I think its important that the student knows that this lesson has been tailored to them and they are not being presented with a lesson that is not meeting their needs. I am here to support students with conversational practice, as well as business English. Being a native English teacher gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves with the language and become more use to the accents that come with native English which can at times be difficult for new students.

During my lessons I will use current events and the current needs of the student to keep the lesson interesting and inspire the student to practice the language for themselves. For me it is important that the student has the opportunity to speak and gain confidence rather than just taking notes while the teacher speaks. Learning languages is a huge passion of mine and I myself know that the best way to learn is to practice and immerse yourself into the language itself.

My experience in teaching English has been gained through helping Spanish speaking students improve their skills and confidence with the language. I also have experience helping students complete presentations for business proposals and CVs in English. These examples require high levels of English and I am always happy to support students with these knowing it will help them achieve their longer term goals.
