Experienced private tutor of English, French and Spanish for Bradford and Leeds

I have been working as a private tutor for several years and I am responsive to the individual needs of students. I have excellent academic credentials with two BA Hons degrees in foreign languages, one from the University of Manchester and one from the Open University. I have an MA in English Literature.

I am a fully qualified teacher of English with both the Trinity College Cert TESOL and Dip TESOL (equivalent to QTS). I keep my skills up to date with courses including the University of Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English Online and British Council professional development workshops.

I have taught GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, A'Level English Literature, A'Level English Language, French GCSE and A'Level, Spanish GCSE, IELTS Academic, General and Medical, TOEFL and Cambridge First Certificate and Proficiency.

I am happy to teach children, young people and adults.

I carry out a needs analysis with all my students and focus on the areas which are important for them. My classes are planned carefully and I use a wide range of different materials and activities so that they are lively, interesting and focused.
