I will teach with patience, clarity, interactive activities, real-life examples, encouragement, personalized strategies, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and adapting methods to each student’s unique needs and goals.This drive was evident in my experience with personalized tutoring that has imparted to me a deeper appreciation for the venerable art of instructing and cultivating learners. During the first half of 2020, I embraced the role of an English tutor for a third-grade Chinese student, who was born in Italy and had recently relocated to China. This unique circumstance presented a blend of cultural cognition differences and communication challenges in our teaching interactions. Throughout this enriching teaching journey, I gained a profound appreciation for the necessity of tailoring teaching methodologies to cater to individual student needs. Moreover, I was immersed in the intriguing complexities and rewarding opportunities inherent in cross-cultural communication. While language barriers posed a formidable challenge, I surmounted these obstacles through clear, concise explanations and the implementation of innovative teaching strategies.
