An experienced Tutor who can help with English, History and Psychology

I am a recent first class graduate from the University of Exeter. I have previously tutored students in GCSE English Literature and Language but would also be happy to tutor in GCSE History, A Level English Literature, A Level History and A Level Psychology. I achieved grades A*A*A in these A Levels and level 9 at GCSE for both History and English. My tutoring style enables pupils to engage with the content in an interesting way with the main focus of preparing for examinations.
As an individual who has just recently left education, studying for my GCSE’s and A Levels feels like yesterday to me. Due to this, I am aware of all the stress and pressure that is involved in the learning and revision process and aim to ease pupils minds and make them more confident in their skills and abilities.
With previous tutoring and teaching experience in English, I know how important it is to shape the pupils lessons around what they want to work on most and what they find difficult. I’m also aware of the common problems students struggle with and how to help amend and fix these. I focus mainly on helping pupils remember and exemplify what examiners want, helping them to understand exam questions and structure paragraphs and essays to an extremely high standard.
I would love the opportunity to help GCSE and A Level students thrive in subjects I find enjoyable and exciting. I would love to see them succeed and hopefully enjoy it too!
