Certified tutor with 10 years of experience
Hello, my name is Vasiliki and I am from Greece. I love travelling, music and getting to meet new people, discovering new cultures. This is what makes me also being passionate in teaching languages!
With an experience of 10 years in teaching French and Greek as a foreign language to both children and adults as well, I am a bachelor's degree holder in French Language and Literature issued by National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece and I also prepare the students for Delf certification.
I have an English language certicifation, C2 level (ECPE) University of Michigan and also I hold a master's degree in Education Science: Special Education and Education of Individuals with Speech and Writing Difficulties issued by Hellenic Open University (HOU) in Greece.
Currently I am having an online training on Teaching Greek as a Foreign Language Theory and Practice in the University of the Aegean.
Always having a passion for teaching, i try to encourage and motivate my students in the learning process. I do my best to be a real listener and supporter for them and ready to rethink and re adapt to the methods of teaching, focusing on their needs and getting them involved in the lesson by being active participants. Being enthousiastic, I always search for new ideas and tools of teaching to motivate students. Having worked with people of different ages, nationalities and backgrounds, I’m experienced and well vested in the sector of education, multilingual and intercultural environment. I’m also experienced in focusing on different needs of every single student, encouraging to the implications of every student in the learning process.
