Primary School Teacher with a Qualified Teacher Status

I am currently a Year 1 teacher with a passion for creating engaging and nurturing learning environments for primary school children. In my teaching, I use strategies such as the "I do, we do, you do" model, aligned with Rosenshine’s principles of guided practice, to ensure that students are supported at every stage of their learning journey.

My lessons begin with clear instruction, followed by collaborative activities, and conclude with independent practice to build confidence and understanding. I also use plenaries to check for understanding and adapt my teaching to meet the needs of all learners. I am dedicated to fostering a love for learning and helping children develop the skills and confidence to succeed.
