I come from Beijing, China, an experienced tutor – majored in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. I speak standard and authentic mandarin. I have worked in British Embassy Beijing where Chinese is a foreign language to most of my colleagues for 4 years. I have passion, patience and empathy to teach and help students to learn Chinese. My student group is diverse, from children to elderly, from beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. I can follow the textbook materials teaching for the Chinese exams, or I can just help you improve speaking and listening skills for day-to-day conversation. No matter what the situation is, my teaching method is to develop personalized plans for each student based on their goals and needs. At the beginning or the end of classes, I will communicate in detail and comprehensively, keeping in mind the goals the students want to achieve and their feelings after taking the class. I will treat every student as my friend, know where their learning pain points are, and help them overcome them one by one. I believe learning a language takes time and experience, let’s explore together in the ocean of culture while having fun!
