Advert description
Each class is different, and so is each lesson, and I alternate between being an authority, demonstrator, facilitator, and delegator. I always try to define the goals of the course clearly. Each student work with different abilities. I simply try my best with each student–that’s the definition of my teaching style. It may mean one thing in one lesson and a completely different one in another. I may give complete freedom to some students, but lead others with an iron fist.
At the beginning of each year, I create a comprehensive plan, including a continuous assessment policy, in order to evaluate students' progress regularly. and I work with the students on Not what I want to achieve, but what they want to achieve, and what they expect from student-teacher/facilitator cooperation.
In terms of teaching, nothing works better than empowering my student by giving them responsibility, letting them find the answers, let them fail so they can learn and grow on both personal and academic levels.
I always put emphasis on practice doing. as much hands-on experience as students can get. First of all, students prefer such a form of learning. And secondly, we are preparing them for the real challenges they will face in the workplace, once they graduate. Because they work in teams, face conflicts, deal with deadlines, handle problems, record their findings, and occasionally multitask … my teaching style consists in maximizing student-based learning, discussions, and debates.
