Advert description
For parents:
I have been working in schools for over 15 years. I worked in Primary schools for many years and for the last few years starting before COVID-19 in High Schools.
Since 2004, I worked in translation, design and educational services. I was combining a few jobs.
In 2011, I started my own company, and shortly afterwards, I became involved in education in the UK and started working in primary schools. This involved supplying Spanish tuition to any level. I worked in many primary schools on a curricular and extra-curricular basis.
Before COVID, I became more involved in High Schools as a cover teacher covering all curriculum subjects. I have demonstrated my flexibility, resilience, and ability to work with children from challenging backgrounds. I have also worked on many occasions as a teaching assistant and given one-to-one support in high schools and private tuition in Spanish to any level.
I work full-time in a high school in Cheshire as a cover teacher, and after school, I help some students who need and want to improve their Spanish skills.
I know the curriculum well in many subjects, including, of course, Spanish.
For students:
If you are in the Altrincham area, you could perhaps recognise me because, as I wrote above, I have previously worked in many primary schools.
I haven´t received any review from “findtutors” yet because I have never used this platform. Perhaps you can help with this.
I have taught many students over the years and helped many students get better grades.
I am patient, and I adapt my lessons to your needs. If you are a GCSE student and you are struggling, I can definitely help you.
Some usual questions:
How long have you been in the UK? I was 24 or 25 when I came to Manchester.
So, How old are you? This is an easy answer 25+
Have you got children? Yes, two and are older. Both speak fluent Spanish and are bilingual.
Spanish or English? I usually say “both”
Which team do you support? As my father-in-law was a Manchester City supporter, I support the city of Manchester and Barcelona in Spain. However, I am not watching many games. I used to play basketball more than football, and I run a Basketball club after school in the school where I teach.
Do you play games? I play chess, and I run a club in school.
Hasta pronto.
