o Levels of Development (LOD) and BIM dimensions: 3D modeling, 4D scheduling, 5D cost estimation, and more.
o Practical examples of BIM in real-world projects across architecture, engineering, and construction.
o Overview of the software ecosystem: Revit, Navisworks, Lumion.
o Duration: 2 Hours
o Task: Write a report detailing the advantages of BIM over CAD, referencing a case study or project.
Session 2:
• Revit Basics
o Exploring the Revit interface: ribbons, tools, and settings.
o Navigation techniques: zoom, pan, and orbit.
o Project setup: choosing templates, setting units, and understanding file organization.
o Working with modify tools: move, align, copy, mirror, and array.
o Saving, syncing, and managing project files effectively.
o Duration: 2 Hours
o Task: Set up a new Revit project, create a simple structure, and apply basic modifications.
