English teacher available for KS3, GCSE and A level

Advert description
I am an experienced English teacher who has been teaching for 23 years. I also have a Master's degree in Psychology. I have experience of teaching English to all ages at secondary level, including A level English literature, English Language and Media Studies. I have experience of a range of exam boards including OCR, AQA and Edexcel. I also have experience teaching English language and literature at GCSE with experience with the Edexcel and AQA exam boards. I have delivered English literature at degree level to students at levels 4, 5 & 6. I have also delivered psychology at level 3.
Whilst studying for my master's I tutored several students through their GCSEs with them gaining higher than their predicted grades. I also recently tutored a student through her A level Media Studies qualification and we are looking forward to a successful result this summer.
My tutoring sessions are tailored for your learning needs where I can provide support and feedback for your learning in school/college. I provide original resources to support your learning and free access to these through a Google Drive folder. This is a space where you can clarify your understanding and build your confidence and skills so you can achieve your academic goals.
I currently have a solid client base and I am looking to increase this number in September. Previous clients have provided positive feedback:
'Thanks again for all your help, it definitely made a significant difference to his understanding and interest in the subject.'
'Thank you for working with him - he is SO much more confident. You were the dose of good medicine he needed.'
‘He got 62% on English language (he said he misread a question on that paper comparing two texts) and 70% on literature (which I am really pleased with and that’s totally down to you!).’
Please contact me if you feel I can support your learning.
