I am formally applying for the position of a music teacher, and am delighted to attach with my cover letter a copy of my latest resume.
Music has played a fundamental part of my personal and vocational life, and has seen me engaged in a variety of roles, including performance and production.
I have over 20 years’ experience of teaching music students of various levels, and across a range of musical genres and backgrounds.
Alongside regular live performances with a variety of leading performers, I have spent the last 10 years working in an active production role for a major television network, a position which saw me as the leading director and produce for several well-known television shows.
The role also saw me produce and direct music for live television performances that have required me to perform a fluid and multi-changing management stage role, whilst adapting to the needs of the performers, audience and directors.
Aside from performing music on stage and screen, I have also enjoyed being able to compose my own music, which has been adapted and used by numerous live performers and musicians across the world.
My teaching experience has seen me engage with students both on a private tuition level, as well as at the Sornai Music Institute in Ealing.
I hold a Master’s Degree of Music Composition for Film and Television from the University of West London, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance and Production from the London College of Creative Media.
