unlock the wonder of Chemistry with a passionate chemistry teacher

Advert description
I am an experienced chemistry professional, that have a solid academic background in chemistry, holding a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture in Abia State, Nigeria, and a postgraduate degree in Education. I have also completed my teaching certification, certifying me to teach chemistry at the secondary school level and prepare students for international curriculum examinations like IGCSE. Additionally, I have attended several workshops and seminars in chemistry and STEM education. I am a team leader in WAEC marking (WAEC examiner), a member of the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (ICCON), Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN), and the Child Rights Agency of Nigeria.

Over the past 19 years, I have had the opportunity to teach chemistry at different schools, implementing effective lesson plans while incorporating hands-on experiments and demonstrations to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of complex chemical concepts. My experience in marking WAEC exams for several years and rising to the position of team leader, in combination with being a chartered chemist, has significantly enhanced my teaching skills. I also seerved as Academic Officer of my prevoius school for several years overseeing all academic activities of the school.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. I have successfully employed various instructional strategies, including technology integration and collaboration with colleagues to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment. I particularly enjoy motivating students to pursue careers in STEM fields by demonstrating the real-world applications of chemistry. I am dedicated to a collaborative approach to education, working closely with colleagues and actively participating in professional development opportunities.

Furthermore, I firmly believe in creating a supportive and respectful classroom culture. By cultivating positive relationships with my students, I strive to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions,
