I give affordable Mathematics coaching to Secondary pupils

I have a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. I have been a Technical Assistant at the University of Aberdeen for 5 years, and am a skilled coach and mentor to university students. I am attracted by the wide variety of work offered by this role and the opportunity for flexible working.
In my lessons I aim to increase the confidence of students, so that they are less anxious about the subject. I also try to develop formulae etc. from first principles, where possible. In this way, there is no need for students to remember formulae, since they can be quickly derived from scratch.
