As a young person myself, I have a great way of understanding what it takes to get children to engage in their learning and how to retain the information they learn. I have a proven technique of making learning fun and can work with mainstream schooled children, home schooled children and private schooled children. With a good rapport and patience I can excel any child’s learning and bring their true ability to light. I specialise in working with Primary school children aged 4-11 (KS1 & KS2). I can teach phonetics, reading, writing, vowels, vocabulary, grammar and punctuation. I have experience working with home schooled children and now would like to trial my techniques with children from other educational backgrounds. I believe the best way to teach and engage with a child is face to face, therefore I only offer virtual tutoring once a good relationship has been established and a true understanding of their ability has been understood. Prior to this, I am willing to travel, have the parent and child travel to me or meet somewhere convenient. I am enrolled at University to start studying Primary Education this September and believe that this will be a great opportunity for me to help children excel in their education alongside giving myself a chance to gain experience.
