For me personally, I've always enjoyed maths as a subject throughout my time in school as I knew I only had one correct answer to work towards and if I didn't get it, then I could identify where in my method I made a mistake.

But everyone is different and that's okay. Some people find maths easy and some people find it hard, but I will use my peer mentoring skills to help you gradually make your way to the right answer so you can gain confidence in yourself and be able to work through questions independently. I will talk through different ways to get to the correct answer and discuss them with you on an individual basis so you feel more engaged and supported in your learning. We will work together during your time with me and I will try my best to make you smile every so often and motivate you when things get difficult.

Each and every one of you have the potential to expand on your knowledge and as a recent sixth form alumni, my enthusiasm and positive attitude will guide you through this process.

I am actually a very approachable person and sometimes I still feel like a school-girl all over again!
