For a combined period of 3 years, I have taught as a lecturer at 2 universities. My teaching experience is in a myriad of courses, related to computer science, like Artificial Intelligence, Progamming Fundamentals & Network Security. During my time as a university lecturer, I have supervised four final-year projects of bachelor’s students, which has taught me a lot about problem-solving, leadership and staying composed under pressure. I have had the experience of teaching at a university online during COVID-19 and
as a coding instructor for grade four to grade five children at Codingal, an Indian E-learning startup with funding from the US. I am very comfortable in working and coordinating in office-based and remote settings. Recently, I have also started working as a part-time University Teacher at Loughborough University, London. Here, I specialize in teaching subjects, related to Data Science like Principles of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics.
As I am teaching coding, I believe that the lesson should always have more practical things to do. A lesson on coding will last no longer than 1 hour and 15 minutes. This time is enough to focus & grab all the important concepts easily. Let's take the example of a breakdown of a Python/Web Design/Coding/Data Analysis with Python lesson.

1. Rapport building with the student/Warm-up session/Catching up: 10 min
2. Explaining the theory of the concepts: 15 to 20 min
3. Practical work like coding a game or practising the concept: 45 min

I will always try to reinforce the concepts properly & encourage the student to practice more during the lesson. This is because practical work is more useful in strengthening the concepts, rather than just theory.
