I am a professional online childrens' tutor with 14 years, and many thousands of lessons' experience with consistent 5* reviews.

I am a enthusiastic, kind and patient educator, experienced at teaching non-native English speaking children online using general knowledge, science, ecology and maths materials. I have learned over many years that the best way for children to learn natural English, is to learn IN English, and I achieve this by teaching with interesting science, ecology, maths and general knowledge lessons.

At university, I studied Physics and Space Technology with Computational Physics, and Environmental Science and I have a bachelor of Science degree. I am also currently studying for a Masters degree in Advanced Education.

I am very skilled at simplifying and explaining complex concepts to children, and I am especially experienced in teaching children who are non-native English speakers.

I like to teach in a way that models correct language usage, in the way that parents teach their own children. This encourages children to speak without fear, helping them to use and adapt the language they know to communicate effectively.

By adding a little vocabulary and grammar each week in a fun and natural way, it's amazing how quickly children's language skills and confidence grow.

I am lucky enough to have taught some students for years, some for over 500 lessons! I have watched them change from not knowing a word of English, to being able to read and communicate effectively, I truly feel that they are my international family!

All my lessons are fully adapted to the student, I have hundreds of books including Wonders graded English, Oxford Read and Discover, National Geographic Reading Explorer, Specialist Science courses, and many, many others. Through the years I have taught lessons about everything from how atomic structure affects the periodic table, tectonic activity and how it shapes our Earth, to everything about the lives of penguins, and the search for the Loch Ness monster!
