I go through previous exercises from school and talk about how we can improve certain areas.
Set small or large french readings based on the students interests outside of school.
Encourage the student to try and only speak in french during our tutor lessons to accumulate a larger vocabulary.
I enjoy finding French artists that reflect the type of music the student likes to listen to. Listening and watching French is the key to feeling comfortable speaking the language with intent.
By creating a flexible teaching structure based around the students areas of enjoyments but also their areas of struggle, makes the student fall into the language instead of try and learn it.
