I have a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Psychology which have all included advanced levels of maths. I would tailor my teaching to suit the needs of my student, by encouraging them to think further than they usually would at school. I also have experience of working with children with disabilities and can engage a wide range of children to enjoy maths. Many people can have anxiety around maths but it doesn't need to feel so difficult, and I have a way of making it enjoyable and building children's confidence. I would provide the materials for the lesson, and if the student has homework or projects they need help with, they can bring that with them to the lesson.
