About me

My course mainly focuses on three key areas: vocabulary building, practical application (including in-depth exploration of Chinese films and other media), and spoken communication. During each lesson, I select Chinese film clips, TV episodes, or reading materials suited to the student’s level and interests, and guide them through a detailed, line-by-line analysis and discussion.

1.Vocabulary Building: While watching or reading, students identify unfamiliar or challenging words or expression, record them, and commit them to memory.
2. Practical Application: I assign homework that involves sentence construction or situational dialogues, allowing students to apply newly learned vocabulary in realistic contexts. This helps them better grasp each word’s meaning and usage.
3. Spoken Communication: Finally, I incorporate speaking exercises or discussion segments where students practice using the new words and expressions in conversation. Throughout this process, I provide immediate guidance and corrections on pronunciation, intonation, and word choice, helping them become more confident and natural speakers.

By following this teaching approach, students not only expand their Chinese vocabulary steadily but also gain deeper insights into the language and culture through authentic materials such as films and literature. At the same time, consistent speaking practice and personalized feedback help them internalize what they’ve learned and steadily develop fluent, authentic communication skills.
