'Mathematics is not a spectator sports' - This is the core of my teaching style; I believe that you cannot learn maths just by watching someone else do it, but instead you have to get hands on! My lessons are majority practice-question based, whether that be basic exercises to ensure you have grasped the concepts or IB past exam questions where application is key! However, I am also happy to tailor my approach to my students and help them to succeed in any way possible.
I have tutored over 50 students in both a one-on-one and group tuition setting in all levels of mathematics. I have overseen mathematical essays, and university applications as well. Having over 5 years of mathematics tuition experience means that I am well equipt to deal with any problems that a student may face, and further more know the specifications and methodologies required to gain the highest marks possible! All of my students have had positive experiences with me and I aim to aid and nurture them through their maths journey. Whilst not everyone needs to love maths, I believe I can help students to attain an appreciation for this subject, and help to develop skills invaluable skills that will aid them throughout their whole lives.
I personally achieved 7s in both HL mathematics and HL Further mathematics and recently graduated with an MSci in Mathematics from Imperial College London. I also qualified for the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 in 2018 and scored a Merit in the Intermediate Mathematical Olympiad in 2017.
