Zena’s knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching about the benefits of cooking healthy meals is contagious. Zena delivered the lessons at the right level, adapted the pace to suit me and was informative about the ingredients we used.
Zena considered meals that would work for me being pescatarian and also to help with menopausal symptoms especially migraines. As I learnt, the meals we cooked were full of vitamins and nutrients, most importantly protein which I needed.
I was tired of buying prepared, processed meals so I batch cook these meals now to freeze. Most of the ingredients are either store cupboard or frozen so the shopping part is also simplified to help with a busy life.
Zena has a lovely, supportive, nature and our lessons just fly by because we have so much fun. She made me feel comfortable about my limited food knowledge, is really approachable, nothing is too much trouble or silly to ask about. These lessons are my treat and I'm looking forward to the next one.
