I use a wide range of tools including verbal testing , small written topic tests , visual flow charts and diagrams and real world examples to help apply knowledge. I have a background in theatre and I try and bring an interactive , engaging element to my lessons using small games when possible. I cover all areas of biology - from the natural world , pathology , different life cycles to more complex theories such as neuroscience, biochemistry.

Additionally I teach inorganic, organic and physical chemistry- I originally struggled with chemistry at school myself. I taught myself tricks , new ways of thinking and methods to overcome my problems with the material. This allows me to explain content in a simple , accessible manner and I have many ways of teaching the same topics , depending on individual learning styles.

I have experience teaching students with dyslexia , ADHD and varying degrees of autism. I strongly believe everyone can learn competently with the right patience and attention. I am a passionate academic and enjoy helping others to find their place and succeed in educational endeavours.
