Hello! A little bit about my qualifications.. I recently completed my BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from Newcastle University, and achieved an A in my A Level Biology. I will be pursuing my MSc in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine at University of Manchester next September. (I can provide certificates if requested). I also have extensive experience tutoring A Level Biology, GCSE Triple Science, Maths and English (Literature/ Language).

I approach my tutoring with enthusiasm, and understanding, tailoring my teaching style to each student. I typically work with the exam specifications and practice exams, ensuring students understand both scientific theory and how to articulate that to gain marks in an exam. I believe private tutoring is all about working to each students strengths to get the best results, and it's important to be able to create a supportive atmosphere to bring this out of them. Additionally, I have worked with GCSE Students with disabilities ranging from mild to severe, both socially, and physically. I have a strong understanding of the difficulties students face applying to university and exam pressure, as well as the transition from GCSE to A Level, making this a critical time for students hoping to progress to higher education or into industry straight away. My goal is to make my tutee feel equipped and independent when faced with these challenges.
