During our lessons we will develop a learning goal each session that we will aim to meet. I will teach you the concepts of the subject and then put that to practise with a few past paper practise questions. We will try to use our time to discuss the topic and what your struggles are, this way i can adapt my teaching towards the student.
During my time in secondary school and during A-levels i would usually use Youtube to understand concepts and topics i struggled with. I would make sure i am following my curriculum needs and once i had developed enough understanding i would apply the theory to practise questions. These questions would usually be from past papers and would be completed under exam timing. Once completed i would mark my papers and revise the mark schemes to make sure in future i am answering questions in the proper format required by my examiners.
Furthermore, to solidify my revision i would use one page summaries for each topic. I would combine my classwork with home-teaching and summarise each concept onto one page; this way i was learning to consolidate my knowledge.
