The focus of my lessons is focussed mainly on the student and what they want to do. This can range from covering exam questions to helping gain a further understanding within the topics. My main approach is to not just give the students the answer but break down each area in to a more easily digestible format, giving them the tools to be able to answer and solve problems themselves. Initially I scored poorly during my A-levels within maths, however, I developed skills necessary for making complex topics easier to understand and thus managed to bring my grade up to an A. This gives me a good foundation to help students of any ability be able to understand these topics in their own individual way as opposed to the cookie-cutter methods that many schools may use.
