My lessons consist of the basics first, a simple hands on look at how a camera works, the history behind photography and how to start taking great shots! All you need is a camera, access to a computer and a little bit of patience ;)

I have been both an amateur and studied in photography for the last 11years, comprising of a mixture of studio work, freelance, artist study and nature photography. No matter the style you desire to learn, be in night photography on the bustling streets of the city, or macro out in the blissful countryside, there is only one place to truly start.. And that, is by picking up a camera!

The world isn't just as we see it, it is about how we perceive it. Colour photos show us the beauty of the world and all it's glory to behold in utter amazement. However, we also have the sometimes perceived as boring and monochrome.. Black and white. A classic, a vintage, a timeless style.. one that captures the very soul and essence of a subject. Devoid of colourful distraction, it draws the eyes to the focal point.. what the artist sees. So whatever your preference, your perspective matters, your perspective is the difference between beauty and boundary, your vision is where you start.

Colouramas, umbrellas, snoods, spot lights, meters, involemeters, filters.. So much to explore, to delve into! No limitations, only exploration.. this is the way of art!
