The lessons are based on the students needs. This means that we can go through specific content that the student chooses. These lessons would involve me going through the content and ensuring that the student understands the content, going through exam questions and past papers based on the content we have gone through, or papers and mark schemes in general to help improve exam technique etc. The mentoring lessons are designed for students who are interested in applying to university or are current first-year students at university. These mentoring lessons would include discussing ideas for their personal statement, structuring their personal statement, providing exemplar essays, advice on essay writing etc. The key takeaway is that the lessons are driven by the students’ needs and what they ask for. The student can message before hand letting me know what they are looking for which would help make lessons efficient are more useful for the student. I have tutored students before and from that I understand that having a question/ask session at the end of the lesson is useful to help guide the next lesson and provide an overview of how the current lesson was. Please do get in touch if you are interested in being tutored for A-Level AQA Psychology, Edexcel Geography, or OCR Religious Studies (I achieved all A* in A-Levels), or mentoring sessions. The mentoring sessions are open to students who are studying other subjects than those aforementioned, although that will mean that I cannot provide as detailed feedback in technical content.
