Hi! My name is Zainab and I am an enthusiastic and professional individual with a passion for teaching.
The subjects I tutor are Maths and Chemistry up till GCSE level.
I am currently studying Accounting and Business Flying Start Degree. I achieved A* in both Maths and Chemistry A-level at sixth form.
I have experience teaching with tutoring companies Explore Learning and Bespoke Learning. This experience has allowed me pick up on many different techniques in order to tailor my teaching style for each student. I have also taught SEN students and have lots of patience with all children. As a university student myself, I believe I can relate to students as I was recently in their position. I have 100+ hours of tutoring time and look forward to more lesson with more students.
l am a young and energetic tutor so create a relaxing environment for my tutees making lessons more enjoyable and more productive. I believe that confidence is the key to success so always make my students believe in themselves so that they can do well.
I focus heavily on exam technique and use the specification so that my students understand the way exam boards ask questions. I am very good at explaining content and always ensure my student understands the theory behind facts.
I structure my lessons depending upon what my students wants to gain from their tutoring experience. I like to start a topic by asking them some simple questions to gauge and idea of their understanding. We then together go through each point on the specification for the topic and we go through the content. To finish, we usually go through some exam questions together and I will also set some as homework/extra practice in order to perfect the exam technique.
