I have an A* in both maths and numeracy GCSE. Currently doing A levels.
Lessons will be carried out via zoom, we will do many practice questions as well as past paper questions for those doing GCSE’s and then me going through the questions and sometimes i may ask them to go through the questions and what they did to solve it. If a person does not understand how to do a question i will go through it as well as ask probing questions to make them more involved and enhance their critical thinking and problem solving skills. I will try my best to make these lessons as interactive as possible rather than me speaking every so often. Moreover i will get to learn how they like learn and tailor these lessons more towards their needs. I will present most of the work on a powerpoint which can be shown on the zoom call and email them any extra work and perhaps some homework if needed to help them build their confidence. I have mentored a few students in my own school for maths which was an insightful experience. Although i am currently doing A levels, i am willing to help other students to increase their knowledge and understanding in the area of maths.
