Having tutored for over three years, taught in schools and universities my teaching technique is friendly and accessible. I take a flexible approach and tailor lessons to each student. Mathematics is a topic that requires you to engage with it hands on. Being frank it is a subject of practice and the best way to get good at it is much like going to the gym. One must repeatedly train the muscles of the mind through repetition.

Our sessions will be online, so a google meet account, web cam/smart phone, and a stable internet connection will be required as well as something to write on.

I start each session by covering the theory, for that session, in brief and then moving onto doing questions. During this time you will work through Maths questions and I will check your workings. When you get stuck I will provide you with questions to help you figure out how to solve the problem. Should you be unable to do so, I will use my screen and we will work through it together. That being said, I can produce custom teaching materials, presentations and revision guides for students who may need them.

For potential students first lessons are discounted at £5 for online or the cost of travel for IRL.

In the past I've seen students benefit most from weekly sessions over the span of months where we reinforce old material they were already taught or I help them get ahead by teaching them new topics.
