I use some teaching strategies and techniques in my classes. Warming up and gaining my students'
attention are the important parts for me. Depending on their level and their age I try to motivate
them and give them a good feeling to start my teaching. A few minutes we have a friendly
conversation, then I move to start the best way of teaching. I ask them some questions about
previous lessons indirectly and if they have any problem, I try to explain more but for some weeks
students I will keep in touch with them in my office or by email to answer their questions. Then, I
explain the lesson plan, short goal and the methods of assessment about that lesson. Next step is
guiding them by teaching the structure and practice with video, audios, pictures and my
explanations. For less guiding give them different worksheets to do them in pair works and team
working. After they understand I give them self-practice such as grammar, reading and writing
worksheets to do it at home. Next session we check it with each other and I try to stick the
information my practice more in the class. For assessment I use different assessment materials
depending on their lesson to evaluate them.
