So my lessons will be structured but still informal. I think it is key to have a good relationship with your students for them to get the best experience and learn the most. We need to establish a safe space where questions are encouraged and there is a high level of communication. These are key elements to enhance the progress of learning, as it is difficult to progress when you’re afraid to express concerns.
I am a very visual learner so I can understand that there are various learning styles students prefer. Once we are able to identify the style that is required, we can use that to help create a learning pattern that will help the student engage with the lessons. Different methods of teaching can be used based on the students needs to make sure they are getting the most out of the lessons.
I will have an outline of the tasks and timelines as an estimate to track progress. However, if needed we can change the pace depending on the needs of the student as people the amount of time taken to grasp concepts varies.
Being a student myself I can understand and empathize with the stress and academic pressure which is inevitable. Although, it’s difficult it’s all part of the process and we will work through it together.
Using my personal and academic experiences, we will be able to create an amazing game plan to navigate through school, homework or assignments. A positive outlook and hard work is all you need to accomplish any task!
