I have two years experience teaching functional skills to 14-16 years old in order to pass and succeed in maths and English. I have a level 5 teaching qualification in English and able to teach from ks1-ks3 and functional skills. My lessons are formatted to suit individuals and there needs where I will take into account learners support plans or EHCP plans if required to tailor to SEND needs. Learning styles will be considered and baselines assessments will be carried out to see where individuals are with their learning at the moment and what areas we need to improve on. PowerPoints, interactive activities, quizzes and games will be used to aid learning and I am more than happy for the individual to bring in homework for me to go over with them.
