Zahoor Chowdhury

Hello, my name is Zahoor. I have a 1st class bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Birmingham, having covered a wide range of topics including, but not limited to: Algebra, Combinatorics, Probability, Statistics, Vectors, Numerical Methods, Differential Equations, Statistics and Continuum Mechanics.

I am happy to help students of all ages, whether you are someone who wants to study maths at university and needs help with the entrance exams, a primary school student needing extracurricular support, a GCSE or A Level student or a mature learner wanting to brush up their maths skills. I have a strong passion for maths and helping others fall in love with the subject too. I have 6 years of private tuition experience and during this time I have helped multiple GCSE students go from a B to A* as well as helped prepare several students for university entrance exams.

I am based in the Birmingham area and am happy to tutor in my home or yours. I also offer online lessons via Zoom for those who do not live in the area. I also offer an initial interview before a student decides to start classes with me so that they, and their parents in the case of younger students, can get to know me and my teaching methods before choosing to go ahead.
