My lessons are fun and engaging, and my goal is to create an open environment where my students aren't afraid to ask questions. Through my own personal experiences, I discovered that students tend to keep their questions to themselves when they are struggling to understand a particular topic, and thus I ensure my students feel at ease and comfortable around me. I too once struggled with A Level Maths and was predicted a Grade C. I went on to achieve an A*, but I understand what it is like to struggle and this makes me relatable to students. I know the methods to turn a grade from a C to an A*, and through my extensive knowledge of mathematics as a subject, I can guide students to reach their full potential.
I have ran study support sessions in a classroom environment, but am also willing to run lessons online, over videocall if preferred. I am a young adult, who recently left Secondary education and so I fully understand what students are going through and can relate to them on this level. My priority is to listen to the students' needs in order to be the most useful teacher I can be, I will set homework and provide feedback in a way that doesn't add to the stress of A Levels.
I currently am in my first year of University, studying Economics at the University of Warwick, predicted a First Class Honours, and can also help students with the university application process, such as personal statement workshops and general university advice.
