About myself:
At both school and uni, I have always received the top grades in maths and I have developed a thorough understanding of all the topics taught in school. Throughout my time at school, I would frequently help out both my peers and my sister when they were struggling with maths to great success. I am comfortable with tutoring maths at any level including further mechanics and most of further pure for A Level further maths.

Structure of a lesson:
Most lessons will begin with asking if there are any topics that you are struggling with. From there we will go through an example question. Here I will want to hear how you think the problem should be tackled, and I will prompt and guide you so that you are able to tackle these problems on your own.

At this point one of two things will happen: either we will continue to answer similar questions until you fully grasp the concept, or we will move on if it was just a small clarification that was needed.

Then I will probably ask you what you are currently learning about in school so that we can tackle upcoming lessons pre-emptively and so that you already know what you are doing when you get to school.

Towards the end of the lesson, I will probably ask what you would like to cover next time, so that I can prepare to make the lesson go as smoothly as possible.

Ultimately, the content that we discuss will be up to you so that it is tailored to help you in the most useful and efficient way possible.
